The Doge's Palace was founded after 812 in the monumental zone of St. Mark's Square. It is a masterpiece with a distinctive style inspired by Byzantine and Oriental architecture.

Cross the Bridge of Sighs, so called because prisoners, crossing the bridge, used to sigh at the idea of seeing Venice for the last time and reach the prisons where criminals were locked up.

Enter the prestigious Correr Museum and visit Sissi's splendid rooms and the Napoleon dancing hall! The ticket also includes access to the Marciana Library and the National Archaeological Museum.

        • Royal Palace (Correr Museum) ticket is included and can be used on the same day of the Doge's Palace guided tour or on the following day.
        • The Marciana Library is closed on Sundays.
        • For security reasons sacks, bags or knapsacks are not allowed inside the Doges’ Palace (Free deposit available inside).
        • Digital and printed vouchers are accepted (to be shown to the staff)
        • The tour does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather or exceptionally high tide (in these cases it will be rescheduled for the following day or refunded)
